Madison’s 4th Birthday

Well, I can’t find any photos from New Years in Fresno, so lets move on!
Madison had a great birthday this year. We invited some of her friends to have a party for her at “Freedom Station” in Prescott Valley. It’s kind of like a Chucky Cheese, but is smells more like socks than anything else. The kids had a great time, and Madison received a ton of My Little Pony presents. This was the weekend before her birthday, so when she went to school on Tuesday (her actual birthday,) she was confused when they sang her Happy Birthday again.

Her class has a sock monkey named Fred that gets to go home with any kid with a birthday, so Madison got to take Fred home for the night. Only thing is, we got so much snow, that school was canceled for about a week. Fred is still here, but he goes back tomorrow.

the Lowry’s are awesome-tastic

For Madison’s birthday, Christy made Madison a really neat quilt and blankie. I have no talent to make things like this, but this is really special and it came at the perfect time.  Although the quilt arrived two days after her birthday, Madison got sick the day it arrived and it became a new security blanket. She recovered fast, but the quilt and blanket are now a permenant part of what makes up her “Princess Bed.”

Also, Madison made her first pretzel by hand at Sunday School last weekend.  She is so smart!!

Madison’s 3rd Birthday

I have been sick for a few days and I meant to get these photos up earlier.  But we are all doing fine now and I am taking a class at the local college here to get myself started for prerequisites for a nursing program.  Well, Madison had a great birthday party!  She had friends over to help celebrate and we ate pizza and some serious Princess Cake.  This is no ordinary cake, this cake she had was really detailed.
