dad in arizona » Photoshop http://www.dadinarizona.com it's the heat Sun, 14 Feb 2010 04:08:40 +0000 http://wordpress.org/?v=2.9.1 en hourly 1 Our First Camping Trip http://www.dadinarizona.com/2009/05/our-first-camping-trip/ http://www.dadinarizona.com/2009/05/our-first-camping-trip/#comments Thu, 07 May 2009 20:35:42 +0000 Scott D http://www.dadinarizona.com/?p=701 We had a great camping trip yesterday.  We decided to take the pop-top trailer out for a test run by camping at Lynx Lake.  I took a marinated skirt steak for dinner and we skipped out on breakfast because I couldn’t get the refrigerator to work off of the propane.  (There is a way to do it, I just can’t figure it out yet.)  The kids had a blast and the lake was enjoyable, but there was no swimming or wading allowed.  Sadie broke that rule by chasing a group of geese into the lake when I wasn’t paying attention. Bad dog!

Also, Max had a wee sunburn on his nose, so it’s in the healing phase. Yes, we know… we know… we missed a spot.  We now use 3 sunblock products and make him carry an umbrella.
